"What are you thinking Aadya?" asked Grover.
No reply came. It seemed Aadya was lost in an perpetual space. Her eyes staring at nothing. Her body remained motionless for another whole 1 min before she could feel someone shaking her by her arm.
"Hello! Madam. Where are you lost?"
"Aa..aaa..nowhere. I was just lost in thoughts." replied Aadya with a smile. This smile was no ordinary smile and Grover knew this smile too well for this was a smile that resembled the face mask of a tormented soul.
Grover and Aadya were at a coffee shop at the linking road. They decided to sit on a table outside below the large straw umbrella. It has been six months since the heart shaking incident snatched away their friend. Although Raghav's body was never discovered it was assumed that nothing remained of him due to the blast. Over time in the act of comforting Aadya, Grover grew a fondness for her. His relationship with Bharti ended miserably when her parents placed her hands in the hands of a NRI MBA from Seattle. Grover couldn't be sure but he believes the feeling is mutual. Though Aadya would never admit her feelings specially as long as she clings on to those for Raghav. Grover knew what Raghav ment to Aadya and this only has kept him from opening up to her.
"You are thinking of Raghav, na?" questioned Grover. "I miss him too. It's been six months since we lost him. Still feels like any moment he would show up at the gate and say it was a practical joke."
Tears started welling up in Grover's eyes when suddenly a loud sound of Royal Enfield motorcycle that parked next to them drew his attention.
A heavy built tall man, well dressed in half navy blue polo t-shirt and khakis got off the motorcycle. It was Vikram Dhawal, detective at Special Investigations Unit (S.I.U)- Sarvashram. Vikram entered their lives since the investigation of the occurrence at the Grand Suri Market. He was the leading officer at the case and made a ravaging investigation. Conclusions could not be established and the case had to be closed as no other related events occurred. Vikram at a small age of 29 had made tremendous progress. His achievements and medals of bravery lead him directly to the post of S.I.U head where others would take years to reach. Perhaps this was the only case under him that remained unsolved which tortured his profoundly. It showed in his silence whenever he came face to face with Grover and Aadya and oddly enough they would have to start the conversation.
"Look who it is?! The head of S.I.U himself. Come join us for a cup of coffee." offered Grover.
"Thanks, but i'll pass. I went to your house first where i got to know that i'll find you here. I have some news for you. Last night around 10:00 PM some one threw this in my bedroom breaking my window. I rushed out but no one was there." Vikram was holding a pendent in his hand which was shaped like a sun with it's rays scattering in all directions and inside was a six pointed star. It was made of solid gold.
"Have you guys seen this before?" asked Vikram.
"No" said Aadya and Grover in chorus.
"Well then let me thrill you. I have seen this exact design on the half burnt hoarding of a bakery called Tasty Truths." informed Vikram.
"That is the bakery where Raghav had gone to...!" Grover jumped off his seat.
"What does that mean?" asked Aadya in a very scared low tone.
"This means that the case opens again." stated Vikram in a voice of regaining confidence.
